Bottom Line is Apple is Trying to Strong Arm Everybody for Their Data, and We Feel That’s Pretty Messed Up
There’s this banner going out, Apple saying, “We’re the good guy.” But here’s what bothers us about this big iOS update. Essentially Apple is saying you guys are bad guys for sharing all this data, but then they are tracking all of our data and they’re using that data to make lots of money.
In today’s episode, we’re going to give a few examples here of why this is, in my opinion, messed up. Don’t be fooled. Apple is not saying, “We’re not going to track you.” They are saying, “We are going to beat everyone in business and not let you not share our data with any of you.”
It’s messed up. In our opinion, that is messed up. Jason has already jumped ship and he’s always been an Apple fan.
Bottom line is this – Apple is trying to strong arm everybody for their data. And this is where I draw the line because we’re at risk here of putting small businesses, agencies, people who run their own ads, literally out of business. If you don’t know what’s going on, and want to get caught up on the inside scoop, then listen in to this powerful conversation between Jason and Eric. It’s eye-opening!
Apple is pissing everyone off and basically being the bully in the sandbox.
